This is your chance to apply or nominate individuals who you believe will uphold our values within the community, drive our mission forward, and serve our members with dedication.

Your Voice Matters
As a Central Willamette Board Member, your primary role is to help shape our strategic direction and establish policies that align with our long-term objectives. You will work closely with the Chairman, CEO, and fellow Board Members to ensure our credit union adheres to relevant laws and regulations, and meets the needs of our members.
Board Member duties include:
- Approving policies and budgets
- Promoting the credit union in the community
- Overseeing the hiring and management of our CEO
We are looking for individuals with sound judgement, a willingness to learn, and a commitment to our organizational vision. While financial expertise is not a requirement, Board Members are expected to develop a basic understanding of credit union law, risk management, and financial statements, among other areas. Your role as a Board Member is pivotal in maintaining the trust of our volunteers and staff, and in keeping our organizational goals as the top priority.

If you're interested in serving our community, we invite you to apply for consideration to become a member of our Board. Once you apply, our Governance Committee reviews and approves successful candidates for election at the Annual Meeting to fill vacant board seats as terms end.
Board term limits are three years, but it is worth noting that we often renew the terms of our incumbent board members, ensuring continuity and experience within our board.
Therefore, we also offer Associate Board positions. This position serves as a valuable stepping stone for high-potential individuals preparing for a full board role. So, let's align our actions with our intent and make a difference together.
