South Salem

Mark was born and raised in the Portland area. He spent his first year out of high school in Germany, where his mom grew up. After a year at Portland State University, he completed his college degree at Biola University in California. He held various jobs during college, including landscape maintenance, resident assistant, resident director in the dorms, and bank teller at a savings and loan.

After moving to Salem in 1993, Mark worked for a large commercial bank for over 9 years, starting as a teller and ending as the branch sales manager for a couple of branches. He then spent the next 15 years working for a CPA/wealth management practice before returning to banking 5 years ago. He loves being part of Central Willamette!

Mark has served on a board, helped lead his sons’ scouting programs, and is active in his church. He enjoys golf, hiking, cooking, watching baseball and college football, day trips, and traveling. He has 4 children, 2 girls, and 2 boys, whom he loves very much.
