Central Willamette Valley
Mt. Angel Oktoberfest
September 12-15, in Mt. Angel
This event isn’t just about beer and oom-pah music. It's also packed with family-friendly events such as a car show, arts and crafts, wiener dog races (yes, you read that correctly), and a giant fruit tower called the Die Fruchsäule. Take in the food and music and sights and sounds at this year’s Oktoberfest in Mt. Angel. Free admission outside special halls.
Corvallis Fall Festival
September 28-29, at Central Park in Corvallis
Explore over 170 art booths, nonstop music, a Saturday night street dance, and plenty to do for both adults and kids at the Corvallis Fall Fest. Every year, this event gets well over 30,000 visitors who come for the food, live performances, arts, crafts, and fun. All the proceeds from the event go to support local art in and around the region. Go, art! Free admission.
Great Junk Hunt
October 18-19, at the Oregon State Fairgrounds in Salem
The Great Junk Hunt is perfect for those who love to decorate, explore art, find new treasures, or simply shop. With 85,000 square feet of space and hundreds of vendors, you’ll find something to take home and put on display. Tickets on sale at thegreatjunkhunt.com.
Blackberry Junction Holiday Show
November 21-23, at the Linn County Expo Center in Albany
Did you know this is the 33rd year this event has taken place? Plan to attend this year’s holiday show and go home with plenty of unique items for your home and garden — including some holiday favorites. Tickets sold at the door.

Bend Fall Festival
October 4-6, in downtown Bend
When we say Bend, what’s the first thing that comes to mind? Beer? Art? Food? Live music? Family fun? You’ll find it all at the Bend Fall Festival. That includes fine arts and crafts, an art-in-action venue, and interactive installations that celebrate Central Oregon. While you’re enjoying the fall sunshine and weather, sip on a cup of hot cider. It’s fall festival time! Free admission.
Newport Area
Oregon Coast Jazz Party
October 4-6, at the Newport Performing Arts Center
Who doesn’t love jazz? Especially when it’s part of the Oregon Coast Jazz Party. This year, they’re celebrating Duke Ellington’s 125th birthday. Find your tickets and more information at oregoncoastjazzparty.org.
Arctic Circle Newport Turkey Trot
November 28, at Rogue Brewery in Newport
Bring the whole family for a Thanksgiving tradition. This flat, scenic run/walk is perfect for walkers, runners, and kiddos.
